Dave is Back and He Has News
Hey now, it is November 3rd and we're back. I promised you we'd be back in a month and we are. We released a couple of shows while I was taking a month off from the podcast.
We released a couple of interviews that were completed prior to deciding to go on hiatus, but I'm glad to be back with you and I'm happy to share what's going on these days. So I announced that I was taking a month off from here and I did take almost a month off from social media, from doing things on social media. And the reason was because I started a new project.
That's right. I've got a brand new project that I'm working on now and it is research into high net worth individuals and how to become a trusted advisor to high net worth individuals, to high net worth families, to family offices, to the affluent. The reason that I'm focused on this is because whenever there is a downturn in the economy, that sector tends to be immune from the downturn in the economy or is more resistant to the downturn in the economy.
And for my purposes, I always want my clients to be able to work at the highest end of the market. I want my clients to make the most money with the least amount of effort. I want them to be able to deliver maximum value.
And in order to do that, you have to be able to build the team that you want and that requires significant capital and where better to get significant capital than through working with high net worth clients, with affluent individuals, with family offices and with family businesses that are being sold. So I started doing research into this and in the last month, in the last 30 days, about six weeks actually. So from the last two weeks of September, from about September 25th on, I made a decision to pivot the focus of our company to helping advisors, consultants, attorneys, accountants attract high net worth individuals, affluent business owners, families.
And I started having conversations and I've had over a hundred conversations in the last 30 days. I've done 25 plus in depth interviews that have taken an hour or longer with people who are working with high net worth individuals, family offices, clients, and I've developed a model for attracting these clients based on my personal experience and what I've heard from the folks that I've interviewed. And I'm really excited about the model.
I'm testing it now. So here's what you can expect from me here on the inside BS show and inside BS still stands for inside business strategy because we're taking you behind the scenes here showing you what we're doing to build this business. Here's what you can expect to me from me over the course of the next, say 30 days in November.
We're in November of 2025 right now. I'm going to do a few episodes each week, sometimes two, sometimes three. And on those episodes, I will share with you what I'm doing to build my business.
And I'll share with you what's working. I'll share with you. It's not working.
