Hey now, welcome to the inside BS show. This is Dave Lorenzo. So you're listening to this show today.

Well, I hope you're listening to it today. It's Saturday, October 4th, 2025. And you're listening to today's show and you're thinking to yourself, wow, Dave is doing a solo non-interview show on a Saturday.

And the reason I'm doing that is because I have something special that I want to share with you. And if you're a regular listener to the show, if you subscribe via email, I thank you for that. Today's announcement is going to be of particular importance to you.

So today I am announcing that for the next 30 days, I'm going to be offline. That's right. It is offline October and from today, October 4th, Saturday until November 3rd, which is a Monday, I will be offline with the podcast.

And the reason for that, well, there's three big reasons for that. And the reasons have, they could have implications for you. You could take something away from this if you choose to.

I'm working on a new project and I'm not sharing a lot of detail about that new project right now. I will share the details of the new project on November 3rd when I come back, but the new project is going to require a significant amount of time. And this show takes at least an hour every day for me to put together.

That is, if I don't have to do an interview associated with it, if I don't have to try and schedule an interview, just a raw recording, editing and posting of the show takes about an hour a day over the course of a month. That's 30 hours in a month. And I need to dedicate those 30 hours to the project that I'm working on currently.

So I had to make some tough decisions. And one of the tough decisions I made is that I will take a break from doing this every day for the next month. In addition, if you follow me on LinkedIn, I posted something, I believe yesterday, I may have gone up today.

I'm not sure that I'm going to be offline on LinkedIn as well for a month because LinkedIn also takes me about an hour to do. So that's two hours a day, basically 60 minutes, 60 minutes, 60 hours over the course of a month that I can dedicate to the new project that I'm focusing on. So that's the first reason.

The second reason is the, I don't want to say the focus of the show, but the nature of this show is probably going to change as well in the next 30 days. I have some great ideas for where I want the show to go, what I want the show to be about, how I want to do the show moving forward. And I need the 30 days to think that through, plan it out strategically and then execute the beginning of that process.

The third reason why I'm taking off over the course of the next 30 days is I have over 30 days, I have more than 15. So more than half the month is going to be spent traveling. So two, about two weeks plus I'm going to be on the road outside of my home studio.

Now I've recorded shows remotely before, so that's not a huge deal, but it does require some logistical nimbleness and it does require me to really make some focused adjustments and I don't want to have to do that for 15 days while I'm traveling, while I'm on the road. So it's just a better opportunity for me to focus on my project, reposition my content with the show and handle my business over the next 30 days without doing this show and without posting on LinkedIn every day. Now, when the show comes back, what's it going to look like? What's the posting frequency? Of course, I'm going to keep you up to date.

And of course, I'm going to share all the details with you, but for now, over the course of the next 30 days until November 3rd, there won't be a new episode here on the Inside BS show. Now, I do have two interviews that are being edited, that one of which I did with Nicola a couple of weeks ago, and the second one is an interview that I did as a solo. I did a one-on-one interview and our editor is working on editing those two interviews now.

When we finish those interviews, and I'm assuming that our editor is going to finish the interviews within the next two weeks, when we finish those interviews, I will put those interviews out here so you'll be able to get the interviews. So if he finishes it next week, I will put it out on the Wednesday closest to when he finishes, so Wednesday at noon. So my hope is that he'll get them done in the next two weeks and you'll have at least those two interviews that you can sink your teeth into during the next 30 days.

But I will be back with a solo show with one of these shows where I tell you exactly what's going on on November 3rd. So circle that date on your calendar. November 3rd, the show will release at 6 a.m. the way this show did on November 3rd, so you'll know how we move forward on November 3rd.

Now, what makes this different from the times when I've taken a year off at a time? This is designed. In the past, I've taken time off from the podcast and just gone away and not produced any shows and candidly lost a lot of my audience. That's not what this is.

This is a design break to help restructure the content. Let me get a project done on my own and to focus on how we move forward together for the foreseeable future. So this is focused.

So I'll see you on November 3rd. Keep an eye out here wherever you're getting your podcast for the two interviews that will be released in the next couple of weeks during the 30 days when I am on hiatus. We will be back with a solo show from me at 6 a.m. on November 3rd.

I thank you for the relationship that you and I have. I thank you for listening and I appreciate you for being an inside BS listener. I'll see you back here on November 3rd.

Keep an eye out for these interviews over the course of the next couple of weeks, but we'll see you back here for a one on one conversation. 6 a.m. November 3rd. Until then, here's hoping you make a great living and live a great life.
